[ARCHIVED] Anacortes Community Forest Lands Winter Work Party

Green Round Shaped Label Collage Facebook Post

The Friends of the Forest and Anacortes Parks & Recreation will be co-hosting the ACFL winter 2022 work party on Saturday, February 19th from 9am-12pm at Little Cranberry.

Work Plan: The focus will be on trail #100 surfacing work, with options for fence repair, turnstile construction and invasive plant removal.

What to Bring: Please dress for the February outdoors.  Waterproof footwear is always a good idea, along with work gloves, water and snacks. The Parks Department will provide any necessary specialized safety equipment or tools.

Covid-19 Protocol: while this is an outdoor project and masks are not mandated outdoors, we will be working in close proximity with one another. Please have a mask handy when you are working within 6 feet of other volunteers or staff.

Minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please leave your pets at home.

Contact Bob Vaux/360-588-8233 at the Parks & Recreation office with any questions.
