City of Anacortes Parks and Recreation staff contacted police to report a damaged picnic table and surrounding stone work on Loop Road in Washington Park sometime in the previous couple of weeks. The table was struck by a vehicle that caused large ruts in the adjacent lawn. The table was a privately funded project in memory of a regular Loop Road walker.
The Anacortes Police Department is interested in speaking with the person or persons responsible for the damage to the lawn and table. Anyone with information can contact an Officer by calling the non-emergency line at (360) 428-3211 reference APD case #18-A00594.
