The City of Anacortes Public Works Department will continue its annual plan to cape seal streets with this year's work encompassing approximately 1 mile on:
• 37th Street - east of Commercial Avenue to the dead-end
• Whistle Lake Road - North of Haddon Road to Hillcrest Drive
• O Avenue - North of Haddon Road to 41st Street
The project will begin Thursday, June 30, and Friday, July 1, with Lakeside Industries preparing the roadway surface with pavement patches and pre-leveling pavement repairs.
The work is expected to be from 7 am to 5 pm. Some additional cleanup work may occur on the following days.
The planned cape seal is not expected until sometime in August.
