The Public Works sewer project on Phase I of the trail will commence Tuesday, December 3rd. The west end of the trail as well as access from the San Juan Passage trailhead will be closed until work is completed on Friday, December 6th.
Access may still be gained to the trail from Roadside Park, at Jackson and Oakes Avenue. The sea wall constructed in phase I of the trail showed signs of settling during a recent wind event. This involved large rocks along the top collapsing 2 – 3 feet below their previous level.
