Schwetz Construction Inc. will start work to remove a street tree in front of Johnny Picasso’s at the corner of Commercial Avenue and Fifth Street today in order to remove a trip hazard due to heaving sidewalks caused by tree roots. The work will consist of removing the tree to make room for a new one and replacing the sidewalk. The work is expected to be completed by the end of this week.
