Anacortes Parks & Recreation and the Friends of the Forest will be co-hosting the ACFL fall work party. We will be returning to our invasive plant removal in the North Heart Lake area, as well as litter removal along Heart Lake Road. Please dress for the November outdoors, and bring a good pair of work gloves and waterproof footwear. Bright-colored clothing in combination with the appropriate safety gear issued by ACFL staff is also a good idea. If you have a favorite hand tool that works as a forest weed remover, please bring it along as well.
We will be following pandemic safety protocol and maintaining a 6 foot spacing between volunteers. Minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please leave your pets at home.
